Thirties Reclaimed Floral Oil Painting - Roses & Still Life
Sold Out
A beautiful and very cheery floral painting in the most wonderful of colour palettes. Painted in oil on linen board.
Roses fill the vase in full bloom.
I had a written note with the painting that said that the artist was a Lizzie Stotesbury, painted in 1933 in Ottawa, Canada.
There is still a little bit of the original hand writing seen on the reverse. Appears that the writing to the reverse was damaged/removed when reclaimed.
