These small old landscape oils are becoming harder to find even though they dress the pages of interior magazines quite regularly.
This beautiful old landscape is rather old. It is rich in detail from leaf to cloud. It is beautifully executed.
Layers of paint have darkened in areas as expected for age. The painting is mainly in good condition, just a few marks here and there from its journey.
I can't see any initials but it appears to be early 1800's
