A rather lovely vintage Chinese cloth doll ornament of a little watermelon seller.

Lovely hand made details.  It is hand stitched to a base card so the doll stands freely.  You may have to reposition its balance after its journey to you. All made of printed silk except the watermelon basket which is cotton but the top is silk and printed with illustrations of watermelons that have been hand painted onto the cloth.

Gorgeous

Good condition for age, just faded from display with the fabrics being dyed silk. Colour is stronger on the reverse.
