A lovely vintage floral oil painting of pink roses. It has been a delight to have this canvas stay here a while, hanging in a quiet corner of the studio.
The imperfections is that the paint has crackled across the canvas from being badly stored, but a quality that I liked which is why it came back to the studio with me from a fair. There is a slight mottling to the right side which suggest old damp marks but this marries so well with the ground that I didn't realise that it was unintentional.
The artist has signed the reverse of the canvas near to the wooden frame and the painting is titled 'Full Blooms@ and painted in 1972 by Arthur G Caddick
50cm in width by 40cm in length.
