A wonderful Edwardian cotton lawn and linen lace under slip. There is beautiful embroidered detailing just under the lace all around the neckline. and arms It is in very good condition for age except for a little staining to the front. But the fabric and lace is in good structural condition. This has been in storage for a long time which is why it is in such good condition.
Lovely to display. There's a ribbon that runs around the neck line between ladder holes, this doesn't appear to be the original, I would have imagined the original to be more delicate.
Chest measures 46cm (18" = 36" all round) when laid flat.
and 140cm (close to 55") in length from top of shoulder to base hem.
