A beautiful and rare find. Sourced on my last buying trip at Newark Antiques Fair.
A gorgeous French cotton decorated with garden bloom arrangements on a foliage shadow and striped ground. Beautiful illustration and design.
There are two punch holes to one of the longer sides and a stain to that side too that measures approx 6cm x 4cm. There are also a couple of small wear holes to the bottom edge and one to the bottom side. I think this fabric would be rather lovely to use the individual arrangements for separate projects or hem at each side for a lovely table runner.
Approx late 30's early 40's in age. in age. It is like new.
