I love the old linen threads, not only are they delightful to stitch with but they are also great for wrapping gifts and general domestic use. I use it 'all' the time, just perfectly handy to have a reel in your drawer or on your making table. Perfect styling prop too.

18cm tall.

This thread is slightly different as it has a linear texture to the weave, it feels like a linen but may have a wool mix too.

Please note I have acquired a few of these spools so the one you receive may differ in the tones of wood to the one shown in the photograph and the amount of thread on spool will vary. Not too sure how many metres are on the spools but I imagine between 600- 400metres depending on the spool you receive (if not more).

Approx 100 years old (maybe a little older)
