A collection of appliqued cut flowers from reclaimed damaged thirties and forties tablecloths.

To give you an idea of the size of the embroideries, the largest floral measures 8cm in width

These are iron-on pieces, simply peel off the paper backing and iron down (with a clean, medium heat) directly to your work. (Some paper backing may be not attached anymore but you will be able to identify the reverse easily).

Sew down by machine or hand stitch the pieces around the edges, use varied stitches as part of decorative mark making if you require the flowers to be permanent.
