Old Framed Hand Painted & Printed Portrait

A wonderful old portrait.  The base of the portrait is a light brown single print which has then been painted by hand with layers of watercolour.  A beautiful piece.  The frame has wear, particularly to the top left edge.  There is still the original paper to the back and a label that suggests that frame is from from Belgium.

 

There is a handwritten note to the base of the print, I can't quite make it out, but at the end it says 1913. The hanger has been removed, so you can lean or have a new hanger added.  There is a light watermark to the top of the mount.

The frame is glazed.
