A delightful find.

I have a few of these old hand made Indian carved tables around my home. I have used to rest and display small plants, and one is the perfect home for a small glass candle lantern I have. They are versatile and hold so much decorative interest and they fold away when not in use.

Highly decorative with carved vine and foliage details to the legs and the top is carved with an inlay decoration of ivory or another type of bone (popular for its time) in a foliage design.

These style of tables were particularly popular in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This one seems to set itself towards the early 1900s. The legs are hinged so they fold away to make this lovely table portable.

These tables were short in height as they were made to site by the side of someone who was resting on the floor. In the early 1900's they featured in parlours as a form of decoration, but they were great rests for the occasional small parlour palm.

Measures 24.5cm in height and the table top measure 22cm in diameter.

Selling as found so the top and legs will need a little dust and polish in the inlays.

It may arrive flat and need to be assembled depending if you purchase other products with it.
