A lovely old Romanian clay vase that has a gorgeous impressed and carved floral design all around.
Korond is impressed in the base but this is actually a place in Romania known for its clay in the hills and the style of pot developed from there. This pot is unpainted and glazed but glaxed and painted versions became popular during this time too. These pots were produced almost by every man in this region after World War 2 to make money.
Measures 14.5cm in height.
