An exquisite hand made piece of pottery that is wonderful in detail. Decorated with glazed, hand painted flowers (the pale pink flower has raised glaze) and a butterfly on one side and a lovely iris on the other.

Dates around 1940's.

This is of Japanese origin, there is a little writing to the base bear the handle and also on the handle itself but this has worn in areas. There is also nibbles to the pouring lip, but still in good structural condition.
