A stunning study sheet of collected Ayrshire Lace. I purchased a few of these and as tempting as it was to remove the samples and sell separately I have decided for now to sell as found.

This is from a collection that may have been curated by a student from the Manchester School of Art - Needlework. There is a name and address on the reverse. Mounted on sugar paper that is a dark charcoal grey. Lace is in good condition. All hand stitched to the paper.

A Mrs Travis 366 Bury Road in Rochdale.

There is a title of Ayrshire Lace in pen enclosed by sellotape that is almost hanging away from the sheet but I have kept it on to show the authenticity of this piece.

Full page measures 59cm x 28cm and will arrive folded as found.
