A beautiful old hand painted Victorian water pitcher with pewter lid (still very silver on the inside), decorated with a floral design all around the body. The hand painted gilded work and the weight of this piece makes this a perfect vessel for sturdier florals or a large display. the lid will tip back and help support the flower stems. In the Summer a large gathered collection of varied garden flowers whether an armful of cornflowers or a few tall stems of peonies or delphiniums, this old pitcher will serve them well.
