In two weeks time I am going to attempt to empty the whole of the studio for a Summer clean and re-sort. So as the sale continues, every cupboard will be moved, every shelf re-arranged and every storage box re-examined. The first cupboard to be sorted and emptied are the shelves to my linen scrap cupboard.
It is filled with snippets from commissions, end of bolts, reclaimed areas of damaged panels, fragments I have found on my travels or projects of my own and some last single pieces from the linen press department. Some of you may know that I produce these Flower Market boxes once or twice a year. This is the first this year. The collections are a mix of printed English furnishing linens and cottons from companies such as Sanderson, O'Hanlon, Bovey, Wardle but the box you receive may have a few samples of French fabric in there too. The photographs here are just an indication of the style of florals you will receive as each box is slightly different in its content.
I have only a small selection of these boxes this time. So enjoy them while they are in stock.
The area space when all fabrics are laid out is approx 100cm x 75cm.
