Magic Lantern - Studying

I acquired this old magic lantern slide some time ago and placed it to one side for this chapter of the Winter Stories series. I always find that there is something rather wonderful about these images, maybe it is the frame, or the way light dances through the image but I always find them to be quite calming.
They look rather lovely propped against a window ledge so the natural light can bring them back to life, like a painting.
This image is an old graphic slide of a young lady sat with rolled literature to her side.
The magic lantern slide measures approx 8cm x 8cm
There is a little damage to the slide where the print has frosted but this is rather lovely for this time of year as if intentional.
