Hand Woven Mat

A beautiful old hand woven panel that is backed with a pale duck egg taffeta silk (I think). Such a gorgeous palette and design woven in a mixture of what appears to be chenille, cotton and linen yarn. Would look lovely on a kitchen table with a vase of flowers.

It is in good structural condition but like all old pieces shows signs of age here and there.

Approx 80/90 years old.

Measures 50cm in length x 18.5cm in width.
