I'm not too sure if this is a very old (Regency) playing card counter that may have been turned into a pendant later in its journey. There's lovely dotted brass details around the inner squared cross shape. Etched florals edge the rectangle. The darkness of the polished oyster shell is just lovely in marking and tone.

Measures 5cm in height and 5cm in diameter.
