A beautiful framed print that is a reproduction of a painting titled Echo by Cuno von Bodenhausen. A 19th century German painter. The painting is titled Echo which depicts the mythological nymph Echo standing and listening while another figure sits nearby in a quiet woodland setting.
Reproductions of his works were widely circulated as art postcards and prints across Europe in the late 19th and 20th century.
This print sits within a highly ornate Rococco inspired frame. The plaster work in a couple of areas have been damaged and re-touched.
Frame measures 36.5cm x 42cm
Approx late 1800's.
