This is a gorgeous large water pitcher that is perfect for those larger heavy blooms such as delphiniums, lupins, foxgloves etc....
A stoneware piece by Doulton potteries titled Burslam. This is late 1800's/early 1900's. Serial number hand painted to the base.
Decorated with pink roses and a border design to the lip that travels to the inside of the lip too.
Good structural condition for age. Just a chip to the very base that can only be seen from the bottom. There is also a very fine hair line to the glaze, looks more cosmetic than structural.
Measures 26cm in height.
Heavy in weight which is reflected in the postage.
