Exquisite.

A wonderful old water pitcher that has a transfer linear design. Decorated with illustrated berry branches and a single decorative moth on both sides. The design differs on both sides. This pitcher is a very lovely shape indeed. The neck of the jug has a fluted wave finished with a detailed leafy transfer border that runs to the side of the handle too. In very very good condition for age just a little wear to the glaze where the nodule sits to the handle. I have taken lots of photographs to show you the detailing. Perfect for those larger foliage displays at this time of year or just beautiful to stand on its own in a quiet corner as a statement piece.

As all old large vases, when filling with water always carry by the body and not the handle. xxx
